SERVER UPDATE – THINGS ARE MOVING

Still moving forward.

After the data center migration finally happened and VSROPLUS fixed the issues on their side, the server is finally running smooth again. I want to thank everyone for their patience while all of that was going on. It took a bit longer than expected, but things are stable now.

I have been pushing small patches and changes here and there and overall things have been going pretty well. There are still a lot of things I want to adjust, tweak, and improve though. As always, these things take time.

I know there are still some issues such as:

• Some Item Mall avatars missing attachments
• Female avatar versions missing
• Requests for a second page in pet inventory
• People wanting more drops
• People wanting less drops
• Battle Arena coins given in HWT
• More Unique Monsters

There are a lot of suggestions coming in and I am considering all of them. Ultimately though, things will end up where I feel they fit best for the server and the gameplay style I want.

Some things I am still learning how to do, so certain changes will take a bit longer than others. Just bear with me while I figure things out.

For transparency, the server is currently paid up for 6 months on the VPS, and the filter is paid 3 months at a time. Donations continue to go directly toward keeping the server running and improving things behind the scenes.

Another thing that helps a lot is VOTING.

If you enjoy the server, take a moment to vote and move it up the rankings. It really helps with visibility.

Also feel free to bring friends if you know anyone who still plays Silkroad. Let’s keep the community chill, friendly, and helpful.

Slight Update trying to keep things FRESH.

Still moving along.

We have pushed a few updates, added item mall items, fixed bugs. We are moving along slowly but surely.

I do plan to add a lot more things such as unique drops items you can buy from a special vendor.

Maybe a custom dungeon or two is in the mix.. maybe some custom stuff!

Changed Chn Masteries to 440.

Added custom avatars/Transport pets and soon hopefully a bunch more OLDSCHOOL avatars.

Added a gold sink NPC

Added Devil S

Changed up trading so you can make some good $$$.

We are still a ways away from where I want to be, but the core of the gameplay is there. So I hope most of you enjoy.

If anyone wants to throw ideas at me and wants to help the sever just post in #suggestions on discord.

If the suggestion is making things EASIER, I will probably skip it. As I want this server to be brutal and unforgiving.

I know we don't have a lot of players right now but I haven't really advertised much. I want to make sure everything

is running very smooth before we get a bigger influx of players.

I want to thank everyone that has been playing and for the donations and all the love/suggestions people have been giving.

Hopefully it's not taking me to long to fix and implement things. Hope to see yall around for the next year at least.

MERCILESS GRIND AHEAD

This is NOT a casual server. Merciless is built for old-school Silkroad veterans who remember when the grind was real. Expect slow leveling, limited inventory, tight SP management, and constant difficulty adjustments as systems get dialed in. If you want easy mode, this isn't for you. If you can't handle grinding to 110 the hard way, managing limited resources, and adapting to changes, move along. This server respects the brutal, unforgiving spirit of OG Silkroad. You've been warned. (Auto Equipment to lvl 42 is only if you are a noob, but it's there to use. Real men don't need this.)

Welcome & A Quick Heads-Up

Welcome, and thanks to everyone who has already jumped in and started playing. I genuinely appreciate you being here.

Merciless is a passion project being built by Jehan while hiring outside help at times, based in the U.S. Development can be slow at times because this is new territory for me and I am learning as I go. There will be bugs, unfinished systems, and things that take longer than anyone would like to fix. That is just the reality right now.

The goal is simple: Bring back the old-school Silkroad vibe. Hard rates, meaningful drops, grinding to max level, auto gear to 42 is on right now (probably gone soon), alchemy stones that matter (good drop rate for QoL), rankings, daily check-ins (kind of broken right now sorry), job systems that are currently being worked on, GM events, and auto-events. Bots are allowed, with up to 10 accounts per IP until server fills up will probably move to lower numbers lik 2-5 down the road.

If you are looking for a fully polished server with a big dev team and high population, this probably is not it lol. But if you are okay with testing, giving chill feedback, and watching something grow over time, you are more than welcome here.

Any donation made for SILK will be auto gifted to your account after purchase. I am in America, so Paypal is the only way aside from CashApp ( $J3han ) to get some silk. It helps me pay for the server cost and will help me get more features,

such as Macro bots, more Avatars and custom options while keeping it all old school.

I know it's not 100% old school now but I hope soon in the future with peoples help and voice. It will shape into a genuine Old school feeling Server we can launch together.

The server will continue to evolve as things get tested and balanced. Down the road, months from now, we will see where things stand and decide together how to move forward (Including a full wipe if needed).
